Dear Chotopians,
It is with sadness that we announce the end of Chotopia. You may be aware that support for Flash is ending on the 12th of January and that means Chotopia will more than likely not be able to run anymore.
Chotopia was up for over 6 years, with the entire Chobots history starting in 2008. From then onwards, we made great memories, we laughed, we cried, and overall, we cherished it. We hope that you all continue to cherish the amazing memories you made on Chobots and on Chotopia specifically.
Chobots, to some, was just a fun game to mess around on, and to others it meant so much. We hope that you look back on these times with a smile and remember all the good times you had playing this wonderful game.
On behalf of the Chotopia team, farewell.

It's weird to see that this game has found an end. Some couple of years ago we already made this through as being children. Now we're adults and played this game for nostalgia reasons. Weird to see it ending twice. Best wishes to the great ones. :)
ReplyDeleteCan't believe it died for good...there was always some random private server still up until this very time. I wasn't that active ever since .com ended but I liked to drop in every once in a while for nostalgia. It's going to feel pretty bad for some time to know it's ended permanently now, in every form.

ReplyDeleteWhy not convert Chotopia to HTML5? Then once it’s back up, collaborate with a gaming website like .com did with PrimaryGames to get more players, and go from there? Chobots was a key part of a lot of people’s childhoods and it would be nice to keep it going
