It's June at last! Summer has finally arrived. I wish you all a very happy and safe summer, but first of all, let's take a look at summer in Chotopia!
Contest Updates (Sliders Results, Sweet Battle Contest)
It has been a week since the Sliders contest started and you all fought hard to win, but there can only be 3 winners. Let's take a look at them:
In 1st place we have Shayder. You will receive 7 days of citizenship, 10,000 bugs and a gold medal.
In 2nd place we have Lovell. You will receive 5 days of citizenship, 7,500 bugs and a silver medal.
In 3rd place we have Vinyl. You will receive 3 days of citizenship, 5,000 bugs and a bronze medal.
Well done, guys!
The contest that will be running this week is Sweet Battle. You have one week until the 8th of June to participate in this contest to win a unique prize! Good luck!
For you Chos out there who prefer a contest you can participate in by yourselves, we are starting up Cow Mission! This contest will run for an entire month until the 1st of July, and the prize is a good one! We will be awarding the big 1st, 2nd and 3rd place medals and generous amounts of citizenship and bugs. Don't miss it!
Designing Contest
Recently, a few players have asked us about a designing contest so we decided to host one in the spirit of summer! Here is how it will go:
- You may design whatever you wish (playercard, chat bubble, item, magic item, etc) but it must fit the theme of summer.
- You must complete all the angles of the item you design to help the designers in completing the item.
- You must submit it via the Chotopia Discord in the submissions-for-contests channel.
That is all! You have two weeks to design some sweet summer items and you might see your item in-game! The winners will receive a designer paintbrush and the item they made, and other prizes! The contest will end on the
15th of June. Best of luck!
Party Recap
In the spirit of summer, we held a summer party on Chotopia. Let's recap:
During the party, we held a summer trivia quiz, and there was a total of 3 winners:
Warz came first, winning a classic gold medal.
Julia and
Lovell came second, winning 5,000 bugs each.
We also took a look at everyone's summer outfits and chose the two that stood out the most:
Vinyl and
Volcano. Congratulations! Thank you all for attending this party and we hope you all had a blast.
