Comic and Results!

Hey Chotopians!

Many things happened in the last few days and I wanna invite you to one more event this week. :) Our Agent Megs will host a Pictionary event on Thursday, the 30th of April at 4 PM Cho-Time. Meet her at the Agent Underground. :)

 A new creative contest, new chances for great prizes! You have time from today until Sunday, the 10th of May to create a cool new comic. It should be definitely spring-themed and has to be an idea on your own. Please do not duplicate work by others. :) Use this template to show us your great idea! I really can not wait to see your entry. Also, of course you can enter more than one comic! :) Please do only max. 2 comic templates each story. 

Our creative contest has come to an end! As you may know, we had the favourite recipe running until Monday. :) I loved every entry made by you and it was lovely to see how different the recipes looked like. :D Unfortunately, we don't have a recipe for the wooden spoon but Congratulations to Wrongplanet! Your Cheesecake convinced me the most and it looks sooooo Yummy! Can't wait to try it out. You win the new hand item: Whisk, 7 days of citizenship and 15.000 bugs! :) 

What a great Robofactory contest! The High Scores are INSANE. I see that you really liked and hopefully, I see great results on the Rope Street contest! :)

What an amazing event on Sunday! The Birthday Party was lit. As I don't wanna do a recap of it yet, you have to wait a bit. I am waiting for the montage by Anna and some other screenshots of our community. I wanna do an extra page for it only. :)

But as you know we had an amazing Party on Tuesday! I wanna show you some impressions of it. Thanks, Jacob and Zack for hosting! :) Every couple received 10.000 bugs for their pockets.

Hey Chotopians!

Nice to see you here after our great Birthday Party. :) I wanna invite you to more fun and enjoyment for next week. First, for sure you all are excited about our new contest. What about to do a little Tug'o'War? Show us your pull skills! :D You have the chance from Monday, 27th of April to the 3rd of May. Our first place gets a little extra prize: a cool Rope Shirt in a selectable color! :)

Well, I do not have enough from Parties. Do you? I hope not! Jacob is gonna host a crazy twin party at a secret location you never have seen! :) Here's a little sneak peek of it. You'll meet Jacob at Cafe Street at 8 PM Cho-Time on Tuesday, the 28th. He'll teleport you all to our new secret location. :) Also, do not forget to be dressed up as a twin with a other Chotopian! Each pair of twins will receive 10.000 bugs at the end of the party. :) One Condition: You have to wear it to the whole party! 

Our Agents had a great new idea. We wanna challenge you all. This new event is a Citizen only and will be at the Citizen Underground. The wall is gonna be divided into 2 halves and we're gonna give you a word you have to draw. The one who draws the word better wins a point. After all, you'll receive an amazing prize. ;) It'll be on Wednesday, the 29th of April at 11.30 AM Cho-Time. It's our first time so let's see how it's gonna turn out. :D 

We had so much fun at Game Day! So many users were trying to reach the first place. :) Let's see who won.

Did you were at our spontaneous Animal Party? Well, if not you have one more reason to join us at Discord. Click here. I wanna show you some impressions because this party was one of my favorites so far! The Quiz was such a great experience with you all. Luckyrabbit1927 won it with one point above Anna. She got 2 days of citizenship and the exclusive Birthday Hoodie which is avaible now at Birthday Shop in Café Street. Also, Anna was the best dressed at the Party! She won a Displaychar and 5.000 Bugs. :) Even after that, the Sweet Battle Board was open for 20 mins! The first place, Wavy, won 2 days of citizenship. :)

A new quest for you. :)

As you all know: Chotopia is about to turn 6 years old! It's crazy how old we are gonna be. We wanna say a huge thank you to our loyal players and make this birthday unforgettable. I'm gonna explain to you our plan for this HUGE day now. Well, we'll party on the 26th from 10 AM - 4 PM Cho-Time. Yes, you read right. A six hours party!! We designed many items for you. During every party, we'll rain them step by step to you. It's like a collection! 

Age 0 Party: As you know, we had one at the beginning of April. Let's take a ride through the time machine and we'll start there again! It's gonna be like a continuation of this Party. Be dressed as an "Age 0" person at Shop Square. The best 5 outfits win 10.000 bugs!

Agent Event Hangman: Our Agent Realm will host Hangman at the Agency Underground. Make sure to come, because the user who reaches the most points in 30 Minutes receives a Hangman Shirt, 2 days Citizenship and 5.000 bugs! 

Academy Games & Game-Zone: Sliders and Checkers are gonna be open. Also, you have the chance to rock in first place at Choboard, Robofactory and the Asteroid Game at the Game-Zone. Only the first places have the chance to win here exclusive prizes. Attention: Your user can only win once. All first places: 3 days of Citizenship and 10.000 bugs!

Blast from the Past Party: Let's groove like the '90s. But in Chobots Style! Take your old outfits out, like you dressed up as a kid. Also, you know many old items in-game, right? We wanna give a shoutout to Vayersoft, who made this game possible. :) Make sure to get an invitation to an old location: Old Café Street as Sketch! :) 

Garbage Collector: Making parties cause much garbage. Let's help Christochob tidy up our Chotopia! Let's meet us at the Space Port Square in teams. The best player wins the Christochob Flag, 2 days of citizenship, and 10.000 bugs! 

Agent Event Quiz: Our Agent Bacachoo will host a Quiz at Park. This time we'll give medals out! Make sure to be under the top 3. :)

Sweet Battle: A good party without catering? Not in Chotopia! Let's throw some cake to celebrate this fantastic day. The first place gets an exclusive Sweet Battle medal and 2 days of citizenship and 10.000 bugs! 

Blue & Purple Party: These two colors are our color-scheme for the 6 years of Chotopia! Make the best Blue & Purple outfit with our Birthday Items at old Academy Sketch! :) The best 5 outfits will win 10.000 bugs! 

Nichos & Cow Mission: Will you be the one who fights against Nichos in their kingdom or protecting the hay for Daisy? This time no chance for Cheaters! An Agent or a Staff Member will be at every farm to check up and guarantee fair play. Same counts for Nichos. :) The first places will win 3 days of Citizenship and 10.000 bugs! 

Agent Event Fashion Show: Our Agent Megs will host a Fashion Show at her house! Our best Trendsetter and the most style-conscious user will receive a Display Char and 5.000 bugs!

Birthday Party: Well, a huge thanks to everyone who was here! Let's meet at the Time Zone Room! This one will be the most enjoyable one. Much rain, many magic, and some great songs. Thanks! Happy Birthday, Chotopia!

First, I wanna invite you to a nice Agent Event. Our Agent Bacachoo will host it on Wednesday, the 22nd of April at 6 PM Cho-Time.  He'll be at the Robots Arena fighting against you and we'll see who's the best Owner. We'll have three winners! First Place: 20.000 Bugs - Second Place 15.000 bugs and Third place: 10.000 bugs. 

Secondly, I wanna invite you to a great Game Night again. We'd love Sliders, and as you all know: we all do. So, what about having a great night playing it? Feel free to come on Friday, the 24th of April to Academy. This Event will be different. You have the chance to play two times. The Boards will be open from 10 AM to 12 PM Cho-Time and from 8 PM to 10 PM Cho-Time. So let me correct the name "Game Night" into "Game Day" :B. Attention: You can only win once. We'll have 2 first places winning a cup, a Sliders Shirt, 5 days of citizenship and 10.000 bugs! 

Don't forget that our Birthday is about to knock on the door. As you may know, we had a little Discord Contest. You don't wanna miss extra prizes out? Let's check Discord here out. After great entries, it was really hard to decide which is gonna be in-game and which not. Well, Foxily convinced us of her entry. Her design is pretty elegant and handsome. Now, we have this beautiful sweater as an accessory for our Birthday. Congratulations Foxily! You win your sweater, 7 days of citizenship and 15.000 bugs. 

As you may know, we had the Cho-Throw Contest last week. I think our water bill was never that huge. Everyone had to take so many showers after throwing some tomatoes. Well, let's see who throw the most. :)

New Agents & Moderators!

Hey Chotopians!

Maybe some of you already saw our two new faces at the Official Chotopia Team. We're glad to have a really varied player base and we wanna be able to be in touch with you most of the time per day. Welcome, Zack and Jacob. You both will host events and moderate the game in your different time zones. We prepared some questions for you to get to know our new Moderators. :)

Jacob's favorite color is Blue. In his spare time, he likes to listen to Country music and his favorite dish is Empanadas. He enjoys the most to meet new people, talking to friends and play games throughout Chotopia. Jacob is a volunteer firefighter and that's one thing about his hobbies. :) 

Zack's favorite color is also Blue. He loves the social aspect of Chotopia and to be in touch with his friends and able to talk to them. In his spare time, he loves to listen to EDM and his favorite dish is Pizza. If Zack is offline, he loves snowboarding outside as his hobby.

We also do have two new Agents! Welcome, Megs & Realm. We can't wait to work with you four together. :) You wanna know how you can become an Agent? No problem, click on this link to find our guide. 

I can't wait to tell you about the new Contest we planned. As we had a multiplayer one, for sure you can't wait to be independent making sure that your High Score raises and you stay in the first place. Well, this time we'll open the Robofactory board! :) Yippie. You have time from Monday, the 20th of April until Sunday, 26th. The first place has the chance to win an extra: the Robofactory background for your player card! :) 

On Thursday we had an amazing Agent Event hosted by our Elite Agent Tamara! She held Hangman at the Agency Underground and so many users participate. We almost played Hangman 2 hours long! It was insane. After 1 1/2 hours Tamara wanted to have a little break, hehe. No problem! We changed the 5mins break into a quick party and had a lot of fun. Thanks to all who came. :)

How did you enjoy our Chotopia's Rockband Party? It was a blast and we had so much fun. At the Party we agented our new Agents, by the way. :) Thanks to everyone who came - it was as always an amazing time! Here are some impressions.

Chotopia's Rockband!

I hope you all had a great Easter holiday with your family and friends. Keep in mind: Don't eat every sweet at once. It might cause some stomachache. :) Are you ready for the next event? Our Agent Tamara will host Hangman on Thursday, the 16th. It's gonna be at 5 PM Cho-Time in Agent's Underground. Make sure to come and to win a great Hangman Shirt! :)

Music is a great way to come together. Everyone has the other taste, some people have singers as role models and many people love to visit concerts and to hear their favorite singer live. :) Did you check out our instruments in-game? If not, we have a great chance for you to play some great tunes for us! We want to party with you this Friday, the 17th. We will rock at Rockemall Street and have a great audience. It's gonna be a huge party because you and some friends of you have the chance to play some songs for our Chotopians. Meet you and your rockband friends and practice a cool piece. We'll see us at 6 PM Cho-Time there!

Last but not least: our cow Daisy had so much hay from you! It was insane to see the high scores rising and your engagement to win the Daisy Flag. The Chotopia Team came to the decision, to give our prizes for the winners an update! This is now our regular prize for any contest and we hope that you like this little change. :) As some users are disqualified because of cheating, we won't share a screenshot of the results this time. This is also the reason why we decided to have 4 winners this time :).

Easter Wishes from the Chotopia Team

Hi, everyone!

Today, I am bringing you a post on behalf of the entire Chotopia Team.

We would like to wish you all a truly happy and safe Easter, regardless of your beliefs or traditions. We are aware that right now is a very difficult situation for so many of you and we are sending you our best wishes. We hope, regardless of the difficulties ongoing, you all have a lovely day and enjoy it as much as possible.

Here at Chotopia, we are all here to help you through this hard time, as much as we can. We sincerely hope Chotopia can be an escape for as many of you as possible and we are trying our best to make it an enjoyable, easy-going experience for all of you.

To inform you all and avoid confusion, Anna and Novo have officially decided to step down after a long three years of being on the Chotopia Staff team as part of the Administration team. After a few weeks of consideration, it has been a tough decision to make as Anna and Novo have worked closely with the team and the community and hold Chotopia dearly, although it was the right time to make this decision. With many priorities to consider and balance out, it was time for them to take a step back from Chotopia and focus on personal life. Together, they are leaving for their own benefit and growth as a couple, to take the next step in their lives together. They will both play as casual users relatively actively, therefore do not worry that they are quitting entirely.

"On behalf of the both of us, we love Chotopia dearly and will frequently be online. Never hesitate to shoot us a message or reach out to us. We love all of you and have truly enjoyed working with you and for you throughout the last few years. We both hope that Chotopia continues to thrive as well as it has over the past three years and we are wishing the best for everyone in the coming future."

Once again, on behalf of the Chotopia Team, we hope you all stay safe, healthy and happy during this time. Happy Easter to you all!

A new contest and some news for you!

Hey Chotopians!

We have a great new contest for you and I can tell you one thing right now: We'll have two winners and two new hand items! It's about telling us your favorite recipe. This Template is made by us and completely new to our game. :) You have time from Monday, the 13th of April until Sunday, the 26th of April.

As you may know, we had two different contests for Easter! We had our Postcard and Drawing Contest. I had a lot of Easter and spring vibes looking through every entry we got and I enjoy really seeing your involvement in the game. :) Here we go for our Winners which bring us some great creativity and nice words.

Long time no blog post!

It's been a long time since I have authored for the blog but I felt the time was right to start posting again and it's a delight to be back. Let's get right into the news for this week!

First of all be sure to check out our agent Pictionary event happening today at 5PM Cho-Time hosted by Zack, expect a good time, terrible drawings and some fantastic prizes.

Secondly this past week we have been hosting a palm painting competition. After a week of late nights, sore fingers and extremely close battling for top 3 here are our winners:

In first place we have Urrkayy with 3631 points, you win a gold medal, 7 days of citizenship and 15000 bugs!
In second place we have Rswreece with 3008 points, you win a silver medal, 5 days of citizenship and 10000 bugs!
In third place we have Zack with 2698 points, you win a bronze medal, 3 days of citizenship and 5000 bugs!

Finally this week a small but significant announcement, our discord design a t-shirt contest has been extended until the 15th of April. I look forward to seeing what you late comers produce!

After having two single-player contests in a row I want to invite you guys to feed our cute cow Daisy again! :) It's Easter this upcoming week and Daisy needs a festive Easter-Dinner just like us. The mission to feed Daisy will take place from Monday, the 6th of April to Sunday, the 12th of April. I'm sure you'll treat Daisy great and as a result you'll be rewarded with amazing prizes. Our first place winner will be getting an Exclusive Daisy Flag, a package of food for his pet and the usual prizes. The second and third place winners will receive the usual prizes and a package of food for their pets! :)

Secondly, you have the chance to win a paintbrush this week! 

For a chance at winning our highly-sought after hand item you simply have to draw something Easter-themed, you have until Saturday, the 11th of April! :) You can draw something at the Underground or draw on paper, the choice is yours.
