Lots of Updates

Hello Chobots!

It's been a while since the Chobots team have brought you the latest updates, so today we will be sharing with you the newest changes that have happened in our Chobots world!

Firstly, we have introduced a Profile Button. This button is placed just above the help button which can be located at the top right of your screen

Once you have selected this button you will be presented with a box which allows you see a 360 degree view of your character and It also lets you access your chobots bank!

(Temporary) Available for Citizens ONLY!

The Chobots bank is a place where you can store your savings.This is useful if you do not want to have a large amount of bugs on your character at one time.

More will be added to this feature! Feel free to comment/email ideas!

The next update we have is the Garbage Contest results! You've been competing with each over for a long time but the results have finally come in. Lets take a look!

Congratulations to you three chos who came top 3! Also a huge well done to everyone who took part, maybe next time you can win an award!

Finally, we have the last update on Chobots. Two new members have joined the Chotopia team!

Julian as a Moderator and Katic as an agent! Congratulations to you both!

New Contests!

Hello Chobots,

Today we have started two new contests! Prepare yourself to compete in a lot of Checkers and Chess for the next 10 days!

There are some great rewards if you come top 3 so don't forget to try hard! Also please remember not to cheat as this will result in a disqualification from the contest.

Journalists Program is BACK!

Hello Chobots!

As with each start to the month, Chobots is looking for new writers to join our Journalist program. This program allows members of the community to showcase their distinguished blogs.

Below are the requirements that your site must meet to apply for Journalism.

•     Your blog should be updated weekly. (If you aren't going to be online for example like going on vacation, please let the staff know)
•    The posts on your blog must be your own and creative. You may not copy from other blogs or websites.
•     Images found on the Official Blog may be used in your posts.
•     At least 1 active author and no more than 3 authors.
•    Journalists are rewarded with many wonderful perks, such as:

•     Journalist badge on your playercard with the title of your blog, along with an exclusive playercard.
•     You will receive the exclusive feather item automatically.
•     The ability to contact a moderator through PC, even when their card is blocked.
•        Your blog will be bookmarked by the Moderators.
•     Your website will be featured on the Official Blog.
•     And, a purple name tag.

If you would like to take the opportunity in becoming a Journalist, submissions will be open until August 1, 2015. Make sure to include your blog link in the comments. After the submissions are closed, the Chobots Team will review all submissions and announce the new August Journalists.

Update (BACK!!)

Hello Chobots,

Chobots.ws is currently switching domains, servers, and hosts! The new domain will be Chotopia.us! Sorry for the inconvenience, the game and server will be up as soon as possible, right now all we can do is wait.

I will keep you all updated!

Chobots Council + Contest

Chobots is a world run by the community, for the community. This can clearly be seen through the undeniably strong passion that the Chobots team (composed of former community members) has for maintaining our wonderful world and keeping it safe and age-appropriate for everyone. While we do try our best to remain impartial and unbiased when it comes to making critical decisions, it's not always easy to keep in mind the interests of our vast user base.

That is why the Chobots Council was founded - to bridge the gap between the Chobots team and you, our valued community members. The main function of the Council is to act as a board of advisors to the Chobots administration (i.e. allow the team to hear opinions from different perspectives). Upon establishment, the Council consists of a total of 5 members: one junior, one citizen, one journalist, one agent, one moderator, and one administrator, who presides over the Council. These members ("Councillors") are elected through popular vote, after being nominated by the Chobots administration. Further and more simplified details can be found in the F.A.Q.

In order to become a member of the Chobots Council, you need to show a strong interest in the Council and follow the Chobots rules. Of course, it's also required that you stay active - how else would you know what's going on in the Chobots world? Once there is a vacant position in the Chobots Council, a few members will be nominated by the administration, and a vote will be cast by the appropriate group (see F.A.Q.)

We believe that the power to bring change is not exclusive to the Chobots team, but instead belongs to the members of the community, and we hope that through establishing the Chobots Council, we can encourage more interaction between the staff and the users.

Cow Mission Winners

Hello Chobots,
Cow mission has finally come to an end and the results are in!

Farming Contest!
