Hey dear Chotopians!

I'm bringing you some news today. First of all, we've got a new elite agent. Congratulations to Sparkydude! Thanks for your support in the agents team!

Then, we're congratulating our 3 most recent agents! Mimi9877, Lamergamer and Colorfulmay

Also, we're still accepting submissions for our Journalist Program for September. You can reach in your submission here in the comments or in Discord. Here is the Guide to Journalism

And we've got two contests! The first one is Cho-Board! You've got the chance to win some bugs and citizenship. The contest is running from August 31st until September 7th! 

The next one will be a creative contest. Its running from 30th of August until 7th of September! 

You've got the chance to earn an awesome paintbrush and the ability to draw on the artists wall! 

So, what do you have to do? You just need to draw something chotopia-related. Like a Chotopian you like, or something else. It's allowed to draw in real life or in chotopia on our walls, or in Paint etc. I've got an example for you :)

New week, new contests! But this time I just have one contest for you, as we're having the Chotopia Music Video Contest still running. Make sure to show us your talent from Monday, August 17th to Sunday, August 23rd at our mini-game Racer!

Journalist Program for August

We are accepting submissions of blogs from today to Sunday, the 30th of August. This gives you about 2 weeks to enter your blog. The August Journalists will be announced a few short days later.

I will keep this short and snappy:

To quality for Journalism, you will need to follow the guidelines listed below:

• Your blog must be updated a minimum of 2 times every 2 weeks (1 weekly post). 
• Your posts must be written by yourself, not taken directly from the Official Chotopia Blog or anyone else's Chotopia blog(s).
• You have permission to use Chotopia Blog's pictures regarding events, recaps, and contests, but we encourage you to get creative and use your own work. This will make your blog even more distinctive, unique and interesting.
• The blog MUST relate to Chotopia. 

At this point you may be wondering, what are the benefits of Journalism? Let me lay it out for you:

• An updated Journalist Badge on your playercard
•      Become an Elite Journalist by being a Journalist for a minimum of 3 consecutive months. The period of consecutive journalism will be 3-5 months, depending on the standard of your blog.
•     There will only be 1 Elite Journalist.
• An exclusive Journalist-only Playercard
• A Purple Journalist name tag
• A Journalist feather hand-item
• One week of free citizenship at the beginning of each month
• The ability to PC Moderators even if they are blocked
• Your blog will be listed on the Official Chotopia Blog
• You will be invited to write one Official Blog Post 
• The ability to have your own contests on your blog with their own prizes!

Meet & Greet and a Party!

Hey Chotopians,

please do not forget our current CMV contest. Click here for more information.

We wanna play some games around Chotopia. Meet us from 5 to 7 PM Cho-Time on Thursday, August 13th to play with you some Sliders, Farm, Nichos, Checkers... everything you wish for! We'll wait for you at the Cafe Street. Every participant will receive 25.000 bugs at the end. (You have to play at least 30mins and be on the boards. No double win) The weekly contest Sweetbattle will continue.

Also, there's gonna be a cool party on Sunday, August 16th. Make sure to be at the Beach at 7 PM Cho-Time.

CMV Contest and Sweet Battle!

Hey Chotopians,

Lights, Camera, and Action! You have time from Monday, August 10th to Sunday, August 23rd to make a cool Chotopia Music Video. It can be anything you want, but:

•        At least 60 seconds long. (In- & Outro max. 10seconds from the 60)
•       No explicit songs
•       Follow Chotopia rules (romantic songs are allowed)
•       Screenshots and recordings are allowed
•       At least 1 Verse and 1 Refrain 
•       Repeat frames allowed

Also, this isn't the only contest next week! Make sure to show your best at our Sweetbattle. Invite some friends and be the best cake-thrower. You have time from Monday, August 10th to Sunday, August 16th to be our best Sweetbattle-player.

Before we start with our weekly winners, I wanna invite you to a fantastic Game Night this week. Make sure to be Friday, August 7th at 6 PM Cho-Time until 8 PM Cho-Time in the Gamezone. All the boards are gonna be open and you have the chance to win sweet prizes. Attention: No double wins. You can only win once. Also, make sure to stay until the end... we'll surprise you with a  mini party ;).

Hey Chotopians,

New month, new Citizenship Packages, new Journalists and we're celebrating our most active Chotopians! Congratulations to Tamara, Father, and Novo! You three were the most active Chotopians around in July. Thank you very much for being so diligent in the community, participating in contests, and being loyal players. You all win 2$ for the Chotopia Market and a unique shirt. :)

And lastly what everyone's been waiting for it's time to announce our new Journalists for this month! After looking at all the amazing and well-designed blogs we narrowed it down to the following people. Congratulations to Bebot and Tamara!
