Chotopia Advertisement Contest

Hey everyone

It's time for a new out of game contest! This contest will be an advertisement contest which will be based on advertising Chotopia to new AND old players. The advertisement you create can be shown in the following ways:

• A video - Create a Chotopia advertisement video outlining what Chotopia is and the unique properties of it such as games, quests, contests, Nichos, etc. 
• A poster - Create a Chotopia advertisement poster once again outlining what Chotopia is including some pictures of parties, players, unique items you can win, quests, etc. The poster can be done digitally or manually by hand.
• An animated video - Create a Chotopia animation of Chobots doing activities that can be found in game such as dancing or completing quests.
• A news article - Create a Chotopia news article outlining a story of your own of an event that you may come across on Chotopia such as parties, a unique item being rained, someone being Agented/gaining other position, etc.

These are the main ways of creating your advertisement but if you have your own unique idea of advertising Chotopia, feel free to leave it in the comments!

The contest guidelines are as follows:

• Every contest entry has to be family friendly which shows that Chotopia IS a family friendly game. This means no adding/recording any inappropriate things that are against the rules and that players would not be okay with such as vulgar language, adding inappropriate things about things/people, etc. The entries must be kept under a safe age rating. 
• Images must be posted as an imgur link in the comments section.
• Videos must be posted as a YouTube link in the comments section.
• Stealing other contest entries will not be tolerated.
• If you create your own advertisement idea and not one mentioned in the list, make sure it is advertising the game.

To help some people who may not know where to start with the contest entries, here is a list of things that you can use to create your advertisements:

• Camtasia, Sony Vegas, Adobe Premier, Bandicam can be used for screen recording and editing your videos. Your video may also be manually recorded and created by hand.
• Adobe Animate, Flash can be used for animations. Animating manually by hand can be done also.
• Paint Tool Sai, FireAlpaca, Paint NET can be used for drawing posters digitally. You may also create your poster on paper using pencils, markers, paints, etc.
• Templates found online can be used for news articles. You can also create your own template, digitally or manually.

Bonus points go to players who advertise the game on social media also whether that be posting the link to social media or their friends/family or posting the advertisement they created. If you do this, make sure to provide links or screenshots proving that you've advertised and we ask players to post these links in the comments section, also.

The prizes to this contest are going to be new prizes that have not been given out before, such as being prizes candy canes and a brand new item that will only be given out or this contest.

If you are not aware of what candy canes are, you earn candy canes by completing Choproff, 2 for each time you answer the questions right. Candy canes can be exchanged for currency that you can use in the $hop to buy premium items and/or citizenship.

You have 2 weeks to create your advertisement which gives you time until the 16th of August to create your contest entry.
