With a new month comes the arrival of new journalists. Journalists are valued members of our community: reporting news, updates, contests, tips, to their fellow Cho companions.
Journalists are recognised for their efforts and have many perks, such as:
- being featured in the blogroll.
- a Journalist badge with their blog title linked.
- an exclusive handheld feather item.
- a Journalist skin for their player card.
- ten days of citizenship.
- the ability to contact moderators through PC.
- a purple name tag.
- ... a chance to write their own very blog post for the main blog!
Are you passionate about writing? Web design? Consider joining our monthly Journalist program--you will get to enhance your skills in both areas! To qualify will need to:
- Own a blog! Publish original or paraphrased content, never copied. You may use images from the official blog.
- Update your blog weekly, even biweekly (let us know if you will be away).
- Read this guide!
If you are interested and have what it takes to become a Journalist, submit your blogs in the comments section for review. If you were a Journalist previously, you are also required to re-submit your blog. Bear in mind that only blog owners will be rewarded whilst co-authors will only be acknowledged. We will be choosing soon!

ReplyDeleteI have been blogging for Chotopia since December 2016 and I try my best to be as creative and entertaining as possible in bringing the news of the game. I work hard to have a blog that is visually appealing to the players and that offers the news in such a way, that even if players have already read them on the main blog, they'd be willing to visit mine to read what I wrote. I also try to post about other topics once in a while, such as other games I play, festive days from other countries, and bits of information that are not related to the game, but that allow me to connect with the players in other aspects.
