The Chotopia Trailer Video contest has come to an end and it is time to announce our winner. Once again, we sadly did not receive a lot of entries, so we were limited to selecting only one.

But anyways, without further ado, lets watch this video!

Congratulations to Becookie! I really liked how you talked about all the things you could do on Chotopia and even got a few snippets of the recent party!

Garbage Collector Competition

Greetings!

Fall has commenced for most of you and I hope everybody is enjoying every single moment of it.
To welcome the arrival of a new season, we have decided to hold a clean up!








Head over to the Garbage Collector location to destroy some rubbish - and possibly earn yourselves some sweet prizes if you place first, second or third.

The competition will run until October 3rd.

Party Recap, Cho-Racer Results

Hi friends!

Rain and I had so much fun hosting the party yesterday and we wanted to share some pictures that we captured at the party. Take a look!

Thank you to everyone who attended this party; I really hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!

In other news, the Cho-Racer competition has come to a close and it's time to announce the results! Lets take a look at the scoreboard, shall we?

•     1st place: 7 days of citizenship, 5,000 bugs
•     2nd place: 5 days of citizenship, 3,500 bugs
•     3rd place: 3 days of citizenship, 2,000 bugs

Awesome job to Independent, Tina4321, and Takumi for being our fastest, yet safest drivers on Chotopia! Enjoy your rewards!

Chotopia Trailer Contest, Age Zero Party

Hi friends!

Happy Autumn!

We love welcoming new users to our game, but we need your help in telling people what Chotopia is all about! For you to enter in this contest, you will need to create a trailer video for Chotopia and upload it on YouTube.

Here are some other rules and guidelines that you will need to know for this contest:

•      The trailer video must be at least ​30 seconds​ but no longer than four minutes
•      You must give your username either in the video or when you submit your entry
•      You may only submit one entry
•      If you use a song/tune, you must give credits to whomever produced the music or audio
•      The trailer video must be yours; plagiarizing is not tolerated
•      The video may be in any language, as long as it follows all other rules
•      If you have made a Chotopia trailer video at any time (not for any other previous server) before, you may submit that video as your entry
•      The video must be uploaded onto YouTube​ and submitted on this post; if posted elsewhere, it will not be judged
•      All content must be appropriate

Software tips to use for making your video: Camstudio, Bandicam, Broadcaster Software​, Windows 10 Game Bar​, ShadowPlay

You have until September 30th to create and submit your trailer video, giving you the rest of this month to film your entry. Winners will be picked based on information, creativity, special effects, and effort, and will also receive some awesome rewards. Good luck!

Oh, and before I forget! Do you remember the very first day you registered on Chotopia? Lets all go back to the first day and pretend as if we were new! This Saturday, on September 24th, we will be having an age zero party! Please take this invitation for more details:

4pm EST, 1pm PST

All you will need to do is dress up as if you had just entered the world that we all know as "Chotopia" for the first time. You could wear either no clothes or some of the clothes you would find automatically in your wardrobe when you first join (simple clothes). There will be magic, music, rain, and a quiz, so make sure you attend!

Cho-Racer Competition

Hi friends!

Get ready and start up your car because it's time to race to be the best (or one of the top three) in the Cho-Racer competition.

The objective of the game is to race to the end before you run out of time, but there are many nichos on the road causing traffic. Use your computer arrow keys to control your car and try to get as many power ups to help you succeed in winning and moving on to the next level!

You have until September 25th to enter this contest and win some nice prizes.

Asteroid Competition Results

It is about time our astronauts returned from their missions! You are all heroes for deflecting the asteroids that could have struck Chotopia. In other words, the Asteroid Competition has come to an end and now it is time to announce our top three players. Take a look at the scoreboard:

Pet Contest Results

Hi friends!

The Pet Contest, after being extended for a few more days, has concluded and it is now time to announce our best pet owner and his/her story. But before we get to see the winning entry though, there is something I'd like to discuss about.

Admittedly, we were expecting to have a few more entries in this contest (especially because of the fact that we gave everyone four extra days to enter), yet we were left a little disappointed as only two users submitted an entry. I really hope in the next upcoming contest, more of you will participate. These contests are not for our enjoyment, but for yours. We understand that many of you, including ourselves, have been caught up in school or other activities, but we also see more than just two users who have time on their hands to make something that only would have taken 5-10 minutes. As community leader and manager, it's always my main goal to make sure that your voices are heard, making priorities, events, and contests centered around the majority's interests, and it's extremely frustrating to see you all, the community, asking for things but then not doing much at all when given the opportunity that you wanted.

Everything we do on this game is for you, whether it be from designing new items and locations to taking the time out of our day to develop new features and entertain you all, so please try to participate.
