Huge Chotopia Updates + Active Chotopians

Hello Chotopians!

Half of the year is over and June is knocking on our door. Insane! Let's see who was under the top three most active Chotopians this month. Let's see what's in the citizenship packages of June (:

Congratulations to Anna, Shower, and Novo! You three were the most active Chotopians around in April. Thank you very much for being so diligent in the community, participating in contests, and being loyal players. You all win 2$ for the Chotopia Market and a unique shirt. :)

New week, new contest! You had the chance to prove your talent in Choboard and Asteroids, but how good are you in Coin's Rain? Show it to us from Monday, June 1st to Sunday, June 7th! (:

Make sure to be there at our next event! Our Agent Shower will play some Garbage Collector with y'all. Be at the Space Quay on Tuesday, June 2nd at 8PM Cho-Time.

Updates:

Chotopia's very first Season Pass is now available! You can purchase your golden pass here. To access the Season Pass, simply click on the Chotopia Dashboard to get started.

You will need to earn crowns to increase your tier levels.

Chotopians will earn crowns for the following: 

Leveling up (+5) 

Completing challenges (+20) 

Completing Achievements (+5) 

Coming online every day (+5) 

You will receive exclusive items, citizenship, bugs, and crystals. Crystals can be used in the exclusive Crystal shop. This shop will be updated every season, and the items will no longer be available.

In addition, the level caps have been increased. The new max level for Citizens is now 100 and 80 for Juniors.

Lastly, the Chotopia Olympics will be commencing soon. Decorations have been added to key locations:

New week, new contest! This week is gonna be special. The Asteroid and Choboard Boards will be open from Monday, May 25th to Sunday, May 31st. Make sure to be under the top three to receive some great prizes! (:

Ready for something new around Chotopia? As you know we added the event "Speed Drawing". You guys love it! That's why we're adding one more event. Tic Tac Toe is arriving on our wall and we'll play it the first time tomorrow, Monday, May 25th at 6 PM Cho-Time in the Citizen's Underground! It's gonna be our first time so please be patient with some possible errors. :) This event is citizens only.

Our Agent Kay is waiting for you on Tuesday, May 26th at the Rope Street for you. She'll host a great Sweet Battle event! Make sure to meet her at 4 PM Cho-Time. Make sure to be there to receive some great prizes! :)

Last but not least: As you know we changed the paintbrush rule. Oh, you missed it? Well, make sure to enter our Discord Server as soon as possible to never miss something new around Chotopia again! :) Click here. The paintbrush item is not only available in art contests posted on the Blog. From now on, it will also be given out if you draw 10 qualifying drawings on the Chotopia Walls in-game. Please post your drawings on the Chotopia Discord art channel.

Events and some additions!

Hello Chotopians!

First of all, we'll have an Agent Event! Meet our Agent Megs at the Agent's Underground on Thursday, May 21st at 4 PM Cho-Time for playing some great hangman. 

That's not all that we have in the future for entertaining y'all. (: "Nights of Titans" is waiting for us to go into the third round! Meet us on Friday, May 22nd at 8 PM Cho-Time at the Robots Arena! Let's see who trained his Robot in the best way. Make sure to be under the top three to win a lot of bugs for your improvements on your Robot. (:

As you may hear via Discord: Chotopia has a new addition! We worked on a new way for you to earn some extra nice prizes or items. Say "Hello" to our Vault! 

What's the vault and what can you do with it? Well, the vault is similar to the Daily Wheel. You have 5 chances to guess a code to earn your lucky prize. You can win citizenship, bugs, or items. It depends on how much luck you have and which code fits perfectly. The codes are not completely random. You can find the codes. There are 10 codes in total and you get 5 guesses every 24 hours.

Game Nights are amazing. The only problem is... we do have not enough tables for everyone! Well, to fix this problem we have a new room in Chotopia for Game Nights.

As you see it's still not done. The Games are being redesigned and we're still working on details. So it's a little sneak peek. A message from our Designer Tacodung: "The Game Room will actually be replacing the original game zone, adding places to play the current games, as well sliders, checkers, and chess all in the same area. It will be more of a hangout spot."

May's Journalists, Agent Event and Party!

Hey Chotopians,

Our Agent Kay will be hosting a Cho-Throw competition on Monday, the 18th of May at 7 PM Cho-Time. Meet Kay at the Park and make sure not to wear white as it's going to get messy!

After you cleaned yourself off from the Cho-Throw competition get dressed in your best butterfly or ladybug themed outfit as we'll be having a Butterfly and Ladybug party! The party will be at Shop Square on Tuesday, May 19th at 6 PM Cho-Time! I'm looking forward to seeing all your awesome outfits!

I hope you have your Chotopian driver's license, if not this is the time to get one! We'll be having a Chobots Racer competition from Monday, the 18th of May to Sunday, the 24th of May. Remember to drive responsibly!

And lastly what everyone's been waiting for it's time to announce our new Journalists for this month! Designers, Creative Contests and Events!

Hey Chotopians!

It's the middle of the week and I'm back to keep you up with some news around Chotopia and two new creative contests. :) 

Some of you already saw some new items around Chotopia. We're currently working with our new two designers on something cool for you! First of all, I wanna introduce you to our two newcomers!

Kreator's favorite color is cobolt blue. He likes to listen to rock and his favorite dish is Ribs. :D He enjoys the opportunity to make new friends on Chotopia the most.

Tacodung's favorite color is purple. He likes to listen to Hip Hop and his favorite dish is Rice. (: He enjoys interacting with everyone & the laughs we all share on Chotopia the most. :)

Our new Designers are working on our new season for next month. I'll spoiler you know. ;) We'll have our Cholympics next month! I am so excited about it. Before we start with our cool season, I wanna you to do inform yourself and us about the Olympic Games. You have time from today until May 29th time to do some research about the Olympic Games. It can be about your favorite part, about the winners in the last years, about history and some more facts! As you see, you're free in what you take. Please follow these introductions:

•         Pictures with the source directory
•         Olympic-Games related
•         True facts
•         Use the template (max. two times not wanna have a whole Wikipedia page split into 5 pages) 
•         Do not copy & paste
•         Add a suggestion what you would like to see in Chotopia

If you are not interested in doing some research about the Olympic-Games, I have another creative contest for you. Lights, Camera and Action! You have time from today until May 29th to make a cool Chotopia Music Video. It can be anything you want, but:

•        At least 60 seconds long. (In- & Outro max. 10seconds from the 60)
•       No explicit songs
•       Follow Chotopia rules (romantic songs are allowed)
•       Screenshots and recordings are allowed
•       At least 1 Verse and 1 Refrain 
•       Repeat frames allowed

Chotopia News and Winners!

Hello Chotopians!

New week, new contest! Chistochob is needing some help at cleaning Chotopia again. Our parties made a lot of mess... I guess we owe it to him. ;) He's waiting for us on Monday and wanna have our services until Sunday night. In the end, he has a cool flag for his most diligent (1st place) Chotopian.

 Our Agent Bacachoo will host our most recent kind of event! Make sure to be on Monday, May 11th at 6 PM Cho-Time at Agent's Underground for Speed Drawing. 

Last but not least until Wednesday: We'll have a spring-themed Party! I really can not wait to see your cute outfits and to have a lot of fun with you. :) Make sure to be at 8 PM Cho-Time on Wednesday, May 13th. We'll party at the Terrarium. *-*

How did you enjoy our Academy Game Night? It was the first time we had it until 2 AM because many of you like to stay up until this time. :) As you started to host events on your own, we wanted to give you an opportunity to have a contest at this time. I hope you liked it! As I was free from work this weekend we even had a great little party in the Classroom. Thanks to all who came and let's see who rocked the boards! :)

The Cinco de Mayo Party just ended and we're seeing each other again here at the blog. For sure you're hyped which events we planned for you.. well. I hope you have a lot of time ;). The Tug'O'War winners are also in this article.

Let's begin with two Agent Events in a row! Meet our most recent Agent Kay at Mission Agency on Thursday, the 7th of May at 8 PM Cho-Time. Daisy didn't see you along for a long time she said. Is that true? :O Hopefully we don't get a pet message by her before Thursday that she'll run away if we don't feed her. x]

As you know many Nichos come to Daisy to steal her hay. We should revanche her! Meet our Agent Megs on Friday, the 08th of May at 8 PM Cho-Time also at Mission Agency. We'll meet our enemies in their Kingdom! They won't have dinner with Daisy's hay, right guys? 

Last but not least: an Academy Game Night! (: We'll have all boards open there and give you some unique Sliders, Chess and Checkers shirts. :) Do not miss.. because maybe there's gonna be a little secret party. Who knows? Be there at 7 PM Cho-Time on Saturday, the 09th of May.
