Fashion and Christmas Party!

Hey Chotopians!

First of all: don't forget the comic contest from my last post. :)!
Als allererstes: Vergesst nicht den Comic Wettbewerb. :)!

Secondly, we hosted a fashion party (spontaneous hehe) at a new location. Here are some impressions!

Zweitens, wir haben eine Mode Party (spontan hehe) gefeiert in einer neuen Umgebung. Hier sind ein paar Eindrücke!

Our recent Agent Choppers is gonna host one more for all who where not there yesterday! It'll start tomorrow, the 20th of decembre at 10 PM Cho-Time. I hope to see you and your amazing outfits there! We're gonna invite all to the new location and the winner is gonna get a really cool prize! :)

Also, Anna wants also to host a party, yay! She would love to see y'all at her Christmas Party the following day. Saturday, the 21st of decembre 9 PM Cho-Time. Just get into your seasonal outfits. 

Unser neuster Agent Choppers wird morgen noch eine Mode Party, für die Chos die nicht kommen konnten, veranstalten. Es findet am 20. Dezember statt um 22 Uhr Cho-Time (23Uhr DE). Winter Party and New Moderator

Hey, Chos!

I am really happy and excited to announce that our Staff Team is growing! We have got a new Moderator and we're also waiting to hire a new Designer. So, if you are interested and enjoy designing things, feel free to apply at „Jobs with Chotopia.us“ on the bottom of the home page. Designers construct and design new items, locations and games for the game and website.
To make a long story short: I'm happy to be your new Moderator and a new contact point for you guys! I will be moderating the game, hosting events, refreshing the shop and blogging in both English and German.

Seasonal Greetings from Chotopia

Hey, everyone!

It has been a while since I have posted on here for you all. Today, I'm bringing you all a short updates post and a wonderful message from a long-term player and recent Agent, Jasmingirl.

Firstly, I would like to wish you all a very happy holiday season from the Chotopia Team. I hope you all have a wonderful time celebrating whichever holiday and festival it is that you celebrate, surrounded by the people you love. 

Secondly, I would like to inform you all that Chotopia will be undergoing a lot of changes in order to spark activity within our community. This means changes to our Agent and Staff team - Moderator and Designer applications are now open, and we are also on the lookout for new Agents - and a lot of upcoming contests and events. Make sure to stay tuned to the blog and the Discord for updates regarding parties and such!

Now, on to the amazing post from Jasmingirl. Thank you Jasmin for taking time out of your day to write a lovely post in both English and German for our varied playerbase!

It's that time of the year and I can announce that our lovely Santa Cho is back! He's missing his bells and without them, he can't bring Rudolph and his other reindeer friends together. So visit Santa Cho, search for three bells and be his Christmas hero. Of course he has a present for you at the end. :) Hey Chos, es ist wieder die Zeit des Jahres und ich kann euch verkünden, dass unser lieber Weihnachtsmann Cho wieder zurück ist! Er vermisst seine Glocken und ohne die kann er Rudolf und seine weiteren Rentiere nicht zusammen bringen. Also besucht Weihnachtsmann Cho, sucht nach drei Glocken und sei sein Weihnachtsmann Held. Natürlich hat er ein Geschenk am Ende für Dich. :)

New Contest - Make a B/W Lookbook

Hi friends!

Firstly, last week's top Space Racers have been rewarded. This contest is followed up by an Asteroid competition, which ends November 30th.

Secondly, we're going to have our first ever Lookbook Contest. Dressing up is one of the best ways of showcasing our personal styles as well as is a loved activity on Chotopia -- there couldn't have been a more fitting and fun contest for our users.

To enter, dress up your Chobot following our first theme, Black & White, in order to compile a collection of outfits:

•      Follow the theme; your outfits may only use black and white colours
•      Your lookbook must contain a number of four outfits, no more and no less 
•      You will be judged on originality and creativity - the number of ways you are able to stylise your Chobot according to the theme/how different your outfits look
•      Your outfits will be judged as a collection
•      As this is a creative contest, the presentation of your lookbook will improve your chances of winning
•      Please submit a screenshot of your Chobot in the outfits as an Imgur link in the comment section of this post by December 7th

Winners will of course get mentioned on the official blog and receive a red rosette, citizenship, and bugs!

It's June at last! Summer has finally arrived. I wish you all a very happy and safe summer, but first of all, let's take a look at summer in Chotopia!

Contest Updates (Sliders Results, Sweet Battle Contest)

It has been a week since the Sliders contest started and you all fought hard to win, but there can only be 3 winners. Let's take a look at them:

The contest that will be running this week is Sweet Battle. You have one week until the 8th of June to participate in this contest to win a unique prize! Good luck!

For you Chos out there who prefer a contest you can participate in by yourselves, we are starting up Cow Mission! This contest will run for an entire month until the 1st of July, and the prize is a good one! We will be awarding the big 1st, 2nd and 3rd place medals and generous amounts of citizenship and bugs. Don't miss it! 

Designing Contest

Recently, a few players have asked us about a designing contest so we decided to host one in the spirit of summer! Here is how it will go:

• You may design whatever you wish (playercard, chat bubble, item, magic item, etc) but it must fit the theme of summer.
• You must complete all the angles of the item you design to help the designers in completing the item. 
• You must submit it via the Chotopia Discord in the submissions-for-contests channel.

That is all! You have two weeks to design some sweet summer items and you might see your item in-game! The winners will receive a designer paintbrush and the item they made, and other prizes! The contest will end on the 15th of June. Best of luck!

Party Recap

In the spirit of summer, we held a summer party on Chotopia. Let's recap:

During the party, we held a summer trivia quiz, and there was a total of 3 winners: Warz came first, winning a classic gold medal. Julia and Lovell came second, winning 5,000 bugs each.

We also took a look at everyone's summer outfits and chose the two that stood out the most: Vinyl and Volcano. Congratulations! Thank you all for attending this party and we hope you all had a blast.

Pinball Results, Sliders Contest and Upcoming Summer Party!

Hey everyone,

As you all know this weeks contest was Pinball, so let's take a look at our winners:

In first place with 8929 points, we have Zack, you win 10 days of citizenship, a gold medal and 10000 bugs.
In second place with 5439 points, we have Shayder, you win 7 days of citizenship, a silver medal and 7500 bugs.
Finally, in third place with 5021 points, we have Lewitaly, you win 5 days of citizenship, a bronze medal and 5000 bugs.

After four weeks of Gamezone contests and a visible increase in player activity, the staff team and I have decided to open a collaborative contest! This weeks choice is Sliders! Head on over to and battle it out with your friends for a chance at some great prizes.

Just before I sign off the post I want to alert you all of some big updates planned for this summer. Now that staff are finished with school and college we have more time to create and develop new features as well as new items for the game! Keep your eyes peeled this summer!
