Updates, updates, updates!

Hey everyone,

Recently, there have been many updates added to the game, the following is a summary of them!

• General bug fixes

Many bugs, such as a wrong chat bubble being shown to other players, home layers bug, cafe street lagging, issues with disconnections and trading issues, have been fixed. Additionally, you can now suggest your own suggestions/bug findings in the My Account page, therefore you can all now add your suggestions and we will consider them, alongside reporting bugs for the Staff team to look into and fix. 

• Changes to home

Your home will now stay as a citizen home after your citizenship has expired. 

You can now, by using the "visit users' home" button, visit your friends' Chobots homes! This button can be found on playercards. By un-ticking the "accept all incoming messages" button, you are denying access of users to visit your home. 

• Citizenship changes

Chotopia Citizenship prices will be decreased: 

• 1 month will change from $6.99 to $4.99. 
• 3 months will change from $18.99 to $14.99. 
• 6 month will change from $29.99 to $24.99.
• 12 month package will be returning for $45.99. 

Each package will have more bugs & bonuses!

• Secret Santa

Secret Santa is here! The Staff team have put together their ideas to create this fun, new activity. During the month of December, you will be able to enter a gift for Secret Santa by placing it in the box found in your wardrobe, as shown in the image below. More details and information will be given mid December!

• Chotopia Council

Chotopia Council is here! We will be looking for suitable council members within the community to help bring new, fresh ideas to Chotopia!

• Other general updates
• Choproff questions are back to the original questions.
• Age limit for trade will be increased.
• Graphity wall lines before it starts to fade has been decreased.
• Users can now sell unwanted magic from their backpacks, alongside backgrounds. Do not sell one that you are wearing!

• Candy top-up exchange increased from 1,500 to 5,000.
• Winter is here.

Designing Competition Results, Comic Competition

Hey everyone,

The designing competition has just come to an end! The Staff team and I have reviewed each entry and we have chosen the winner(s) upon discussion. They are as follows:

Make sure to congratulate the winners! For your excellent designing job, you will be awarded the following:

• Your designed item.
• 10,000 bugs
• 10 days of citizenship
• 500 candy canes

Your item will be implemented soon.

You all did a fantastic job and we are excited to see yourself and other players wearing and using your items! Your items will be placed in the shop for a price decided by the Staff team. We look forward to wearing them.

As that competition has ended, we are hosting a new one! This competition will be a Comic Competition which will be held until the 2nd of December, alongside the current chess competition. The theme for this competition will be a winter day. Your comic must meet the following guidelines:

• Must be created on the comic template given below.
• Must be appropriate: Use of inappropriate language/behaviour within the comic will result in the comment being removed and the player disqualified.
• Must be related to a winter day: what have you done/do in the winter months? Make it as creative as you can!
• Each entry must be submitted in the comments section.

Nichos Kingdom Contest Results, Chess Contest

Hey everyone,

We hope you enjoyed our Thanksgiving party tonight, big thanks to the staff members who took time out of their day to host it, Anna and Maxwell, and thank you all of you for attending! Congratulations to Magicluna also, for winning in our quiz!

The Nichos Kingdom contest has also ended, and the winners are as follows:

In 1st place we have Oreo, you will receive 10 days of citizenship, 10,000 bugs and a Nichos Staff.
In 2nd place we have Kerem, you will receive 7 days of citizenship, 7,000 bugs and a Nichos Staff.
In 3rd place we have Luke, you will receive 5 days of days of citizenship, 5,000 bugs and Nichos Staff.

Thanksgiving Party

Hey everyone,

As it's Thanksgiving today and we have a large American player base the staff team and I have decided to host a Thanksgiving themed party this weekend!

Here are the details:

The party will be taking place on Saturday 25th of November at Cafe Street, the party begins at 9pm cho-time so make sure you're there on time!

Unfortunately I will not be able to attend but the rest of the staff team will be there hosting, I hope however you all have a good time!

Robofactory Results, Nichos' Kingdom Mission Competition, Designing Competition

Hey everyone,

The Robofactory competition has come to an end, and here are the winners!

In first place we have Preston12, you will receive 10 days of citizenship, 10,000 bugs and a gold medal.
In second place we have Ciara, you will receive 7 days of citizenship, 7,000 bugs and a silver medal.
In third place we have Oreo, you will receive 5 days of citizenship, 5,000 bugs and a bronze medal.

Make sure to congratulate the winners. We are now hosting a Nichos' Kingdom Mission competition, which will be held the 25th of November. Head over to the Mission Agency in order to compete in this competition!

Alongside that, we are hosting a winter clothes designing competition. This competition is based on designing clothing suitable for winter on the designing template shown below. You have until the 25th of November to compete in this, also.
To compete in this competition fairly, we ask you to follow the following guidelines:

• No plagiarising: Using designs made over a year ago by other users will not be accepted. You are free to enter your designs as long as they were made during the past year.
• Keep it appropriate: We ask you to not design anything that is not family-friendly or inappropriate in any way.
• Submit your design on the designing template given and make sure to include all angels of the design.
• Submit your entry in the comments section using a link to your design.
• Keep your design winter/Christmas themed.

Get designing! Good luck to everyone participating in the competitions. There will also be a prize of candy canes for the winners, including their items being implemented into the game.
