Contest Results, Agent Meeting

Hi y'all!

Did you notice the different greeting? Well, you must have a sharp eye for details, and so does our winner for the Spot the Difference Contest. A week ago, you all were asked to compare and point out the differences between two different pictures (one was the original and one was edited). If you are curious, click here to be directed to the two pictures that were up for comparison.

After carefully looking through entries, we came across a winner that was first to spot all differences without making any mistakes! Here is what she found:

Congratulations to Simplexi for finding all the small changes between the two pictures! You have received 10 days of citizenship, 10,000 bugs, and a red rosette.

In other news, there is a scheduled Agent Meeting next week. This meeting is not mandatory, but we strongly encourage all agents to attend as we will be discussing many important topics in regards to the game, as well as that an attendance item will be given out to agents that do participate.

Agents, please glance at the meeting information below to find whether or not you can attend.

Perhaps after the Agent Meeting, we'll throw a short hangman party for everyone in the Agent Underground, so make sure you all stick around until the meeting is over to join in on some fun!

Spot the Difference Contest

Hi friends!

When you were younger, have you ever been given two different pictures and was asked to point out the differences between the original and manipulated one? Well, our last out-of-game contest in March Madness has just arrived, and it is just that! Here are the two pictures that you guys will be evaluating for this contest:

If you are interested in playing, please read these rules first:

•     You must point out all differences between the two pictures in order to win
•     If you point out something that did not change between the two pictures, you will not be able to win
•     Once you have submitted your answer, that is your final answer (you can not change or resubmit)
•     You may either list out all the changes or you may take the edited photo and circle all differences.
•     Your answer must be submitted on this post (it will not be judged elsewhere)
•     Make sure to include your username when you submit your answer
•     The first person to find all differences and follow these rules wins the contest (if you have the same answer but you were not quick enough to be the first, sorry!)

The winner will be announced on March 25th, so get going before someone else spots all the differences first!

Party Recap, Contest Results, New Update

Hi friends!

Woohoo! I had such a fantastic time at the St. Patty's Day party today, and I'm so glad that many of you wore your holiday spirit colors to the party! Here are some pictures that I took at the party:

I really had a blast — did you? Thank you everyone for coming, and before I forget, it's time to announce and reward our best dressed winners for the St. Patty's Day fashion contest. Here are the three winners:

Congratulations you three! You guys will each receive 5 days of citizenship, 5,000 bugs, and a rosette. Enjoy your well-earn prizes!

Before I close off this post, I have another exciting update to announce! Another feature we have been working on has finally been released in-game, and we hope you like it! When you go to your wardrobe now, you should find 3 brand-new tabs! If you don't see the new wardrobe. clear your cache so that you can see the new feature.

From left to right, your wardrobe tabs are now accessories, hairs, tops, bottoms, back items, costumes, and hands. The 8th tab is a "coming soon" preview, so make sure you stay tuned to see what that may be for.

New User Interface

Hi friends!

After working extremely hard on this update for a while, we have finally released our new UI in-game. Here are the changes that were made:

On the left of your screen, you will notice that the previous side disc has been removed and is now replaced with a bar of buttons that you commonly use. These buttons (in order from top to bottom) include the friends button, emoji button, backpack button, dance button, home button, family button, actions button, and the BRB button. 

At the top-left of your screen (in order from left to right), you will find the amount of money you have, your status in-game, the Cho-Time, and your Cho-level.

At the top-right of your screen, you will find two smaller bars. These buttons include (from left to right) the citizen teleport, $hop, profile, citizen shortcut, agent shortcut, Academy, and the Menu. The space between the citizen shortcut and agent shortcut is for playing magic or music when wearing a specific item. 

The chat bar at the bottom of the screen has also been updated to give a cleaner, matching look with the rest of the layout. Small details have been added to the chat bar, as seen below.

So, let's zoom out and see the new UI as a whole! In case you are wondering where your messages appear, they are located at the top, smack dab in the middle.

Comic Results, St. Patty's Day Contest + Party

Hi friends!

Our first March Madness contest has ended, meaning it's time to announce our winner. Sadly, there was only one entry that was submitted, however, the user that did submit an entry did make a pretty funny comic! Take a look:

Congratulations, Knighty! I love how you focused on the silly controversy between what Americans and Europeans call the sport "foot" ball. You have received 10 days of citizenship, 10,000 bugs, and a comic!

Let's move on to our next contest, and hopefully I've made it easy enough for more people to participate this time. Our second contest in March Madness is the St. Patrick's Day Fashion contest! Many people around the world celebrate and wear green & gold for luck on this holiday, so we're going to adapt this tradition and dress up in green and gold as well!

Here are the steps and tips on entering this contest:

•     Go check out the shops (new items have been added in all shops) and buy some new clothes
•     Your clothes must match with the green and gold theme
•     Extra bonus points will be added if the user is wearing St. Patrick themed items
•     Once you have dressed up your Chobot, take a screenshot of your player card (you can use snipping tool or prntscr)
•     Upload the picture onto Imgur
•     Submit the link into this post's comment section (it will not be judged if submitted elsewhere)
•     You may only submit one entry, so make it your best outfit!

We will be judging all attire based on how well your colors/clothes coordinate with one another, if you are wearing any St. Patrick's items, uniqueness, and creativity. I've done an example to help give you all a visual of what we expect when looking at the entries:

You will have until March 17th, St. Patrick's Day, to submit an entry. Maybe you'll get lucky and be selected to win some fabulous rewards!

Speaking of St. Patrick's Day, we will also be throwing a super fun bash on March 16th to celebrate the holiday.

March Madness, Comic Contest

Hi friends!

I can't believe that it is already March — can you? Well, in celebration of the month, I will be introducing and hosting a brand, new event: March Madness! 

For the rest of this month, there will be 6 competitions in-game and 3 contests outside of the game! Everyone is invited to participate in an attempt to win some awesome prizes. Here is what our game schedule looks like for this month:

At the end of this tournament, the final top three users who've collected the most amount of wins/points (only from the 6 in-game competitions) will receive a very special award.

Continuing forward, let's kick off our first out-of-game contest of the three with a sports-themed comic strip contest!

Be creative, be original, make it entertaining, make it humorous! The only rules are that it has to be related to Chobots and sports, and that you will have to use the template above (save it as an image file) to help you present it in an organized manner. Here are some guidelines/tips to help you out:

•     It is always a good idea to have a clear structure or plot to your story
•     You can take screenshots to edit and crop, as well as lay out both images and text onto the template using an image-editing software like Adobe Photoshop
•     Your layout arrangement can be however you'd like. Please remember to number your boxes in the sequence order that it should be read in
•     You can have a maximum of two-parts to your story (as in you are allowed to make it two comic strips long if it all doesn't fit onto one)
•     Other Chobots can be featured in your comic as different characters. but it will only count as one entry for one Chobot. For instance, you may ask your friends to help you, but this would be your entry and not theirs. 
•     Be sure to include your username
•     Please upload your entry on Imgur and provide us with the link in the comments' section below so that we can all view your comics

I encourage you to all participate as this should be super fun! You have until March 12th to submit an entry. Any entries submitted past the due date will not be reviewed. Winners will be awarded with some sweet prizes — best of luck!

And don't forget to head over to the Space Port Square as the games have just begun. May the odds ever be in your favor!
