Robots News/Upgrade + Reputation + 3 Contests

Hello Chotopia!

As we all know Robots has been out of the picture for quite some time, so we've decided to bring it back with a bang ;)!

First off, we have deleted every single robot and robot team, including the items everyone had. Most of you could care less due to the fact that no one played Robots so no need to get upset :-).
Nonetheless we will be adding 10,000 bugs to every Chotopian user!

I've added some new things to get us started:

•      I've created a Team Page (click here be sure to sign into your account)

Here you can donate bugs to your team, change you team name, view up-to-date stats, have YOUR own team rules, use donations from your members to purchase upgrades and use the Obtain Robot Upgrade (which expires every 2 days unless you return to update).
(Updates/team rules can only be set by leader!)
(STAFF MEMBERS WON'T BE DONATING, AND WILL BE PLAYING ROBOTS FAIRLY!)

•      Everyone has a fresh new start
•      Max for team was lifted to 8 people.

Also we had added new armor and new special items long ago, if you've never noticed.........

Also whenever you buy/sell an item in the Market you'll receive reputation points.

Reputation points can be viewed here (change link to user accordingly)!

Interview Contest Results, Journalist Program Returns

Hi friends!

The Staff Interview Contest has come to a close and it is time to announce the winners! I enjoyed reading all of your entries, but there could only be two winners. Congratulations to the following:

In other news, it has been a while since we had chose new journalists to the Journalists Program, and we think that it is time to let some other people with great blogs be journalists too for the month of June!

Some of you might not know about this program, so let me briefly explain. The Journalists Program is a special program that awards different bloggers for having great blogging skills like template designing, posting unique posts with your own content, and many other skills. Chobots who are Journalists get some cool features that other people don't have:

•      You get your own Journalist-badge for your player card, at the bottom right corner.
•      You will receive a feather and two weeks of citizenship.
•      Your blog will be added to our blogroll in the blog sidebar.

To become a journalist, you'll have to follow at least one of the following things:

•      Publish your own content on your blog (post on your blog with your own words — don't copy the content from other places like the Official Blog). However, you are free to use the pictures from the Official Blog in your posts! 
•      Be active in the community — in-game (by helping people, being nice, be aware of all the latest updates and news in the game) and out of the game (post often on your blog, post on the forum, reply to the tweets from the official Twitter, reply to the posts on the official Facebook page).

To become a Journalist, leave a comment with your Chobots username, and a link to your blog. We will review all the blogs in few days, we will choose some Chobots to become Journalists and we will announce them in a new post.

Note: If you want to become a Journalist, your blog must be active, posting at least every 2 weeks. Former Journalists will have to re-submit their blogs!

Agent Poll

Hi friends!

We have recently discussed as a team about upcoming agents (agents are generally defined as users that are role models for our community and help protect us from any harm), and we had come down to a list of people fit for the position of being an agent. Instead of us choosing who our new agents would be, we wanted to know the community's opinion of who they think earned and deserves the responsibility and rights of being an agent. And so, we've made an agent poll! Here are the four candidates:

Great job to all of you who had made it to the poll! Because you've been selected to be on the poll, that meant you were well-known to us of being helpful and supportive of your community in many ways, and we appreciate all that you do!

To vote for any of the candidates, please click here. You will need to log into your account (as if you were logging into Chotopia) and then at the very top of your page, you should see a notice that says "Vote for the Agent Poll! Don't forget to sign in." Click on the words "Agent Poll" and it will redirect you to the polling page.

From there, you will pick whichever candidate you feel that best deserves to be an agent. If we catch any of the candidates cheating (or if reported with evidence) by asking friends to vote for them or using alternative accounts, you will be disqualified. To avoid any conflicts, we highly suggest you keep your vote personal.

If you do not win the community's vote, please don't feel discouraged as you should actually feel proud of yourself to be recognized as a candidate for agency!

Cow Mission Results, Checkers Contest

Hi friends!

After a little over a week, the farming competition has finally come to an end. Thank you all for helping us feed Daisy (she's very stuffed), and we've grown enough crops that will seem to last for months to come! Take a look at our top helpers:

In other news, we have opened up a Checkers Contest! Challenge your friend to a game of checkers and try to get the most amount of points on the scoreboard. The top three competitors will receive some pretty awesome prizes.

Staff Interview Contest

Hi friends!

It’s time for another contest, but this time we’ve decided to hold a contest that we have never held before! To enter this contest you will need to interview a staff member and frame it onto this provided template:

You are allowed to interview any staff member, but the content must be appropriate and be somewhat Chotopia related (at least one question asked during the interview must be cho-related). You may ask personal questions like "What is your favorite color?" or "Who is your idol?" but please do not ask personal questions that may be private or offend him/her.

Some rules to be aware of is that you are only allowed ask up to 10 questions and can only enter one submission. You also must enter your submission (UPLOAD USING ONLY IMGUR) in the comment section on this post using the template provided. If any of these rules are violated, your entry will not be void as a possible winner.

You have until May 28th to interview a staff member and complete your entry! Winners will be chosen based off creativity, humor, interest, and many more factors.

Party Recap, Sweet Battle Results, Cow Mission Competition

Hi friends!

I had such a blast hosting the Fashion Show Party yesterday evening, and I was extremely happy to see lots of awesome styles and sportsmanship! We played many rounds (the winners got a chance to pick the following themes and the final round was voted by everyone who was participating!), and we had a tie of between two winners in the end! Congratulations to both Dawn and Mmjay1 for being last night's best fashionistas! Here are some snapshots of the party:

Thank you to everyone who participated in not only the party, but also the Sweet Battle Contest! You guys had about half a month to join this contest and throw some sweets at your friends to make it to the top three, and sure do we have some delicious prizes to give out to our winners! Fashion Party

Hi friends!

Have you recently been shopping on Chotopia? If not, you better rush on over to Shops' Street, or take a glance at the exclusive $hop, and stock up on some cool outfits before entering in the competition this upcoming Friday! Please join us on May 13th for a night of magic, fun and clothes!

During this party, the main event will be the fashion show — a contest where you will need to dress as best you can to each corresponding theme that will be given each round. The winners to the fashion show (whoever wins the most amount of rounds) will receive a special prize for their artistic expressions and styles through clothing.
