Journalist?!

Hello Chobots!

As with each start to the month, Chobots is looking for new writers to join our Journalist program. This program allows members of the community to showcase their distinguished blogs.

Below are the requirements that your site must meet to apply for Journalism.

•     Your blog should be updated weekly. (If you aren't going to be online for example like going on vacation, please let the staff know)
•    The posts on your blog must be your own and creative. You may not copy from other blogs or websites.
•     Images found on the Official Blog may be used in your posts.
•     At least 1 active author and no more than 3 authors.
•    Journalists are rewarded with many wonderful perks, such as:

•     Your blog will be featured on the play page.
•     Journalist badge on your playercard with the title of your blog, along with an exclusive playercard.
•     You will receive the exclusive feather item automatically.
•     You will be invited to write one blog post here on the Official Blog.
•     The ability to contact a moderator through PC, even when their card is blocked.
•        Your blog will be bookmarked by the Moderators.
•     Your website will be featured on the Official Blog.
•     And, a purple name tag.

If you would like to take the opportunity in becoming a Journalist, submissions will be open until April 4, 2015. Make sure to include your blog link in the comments. After the submissions are closed, the Chobots Team will review all submissions and announce the new August Journalists.

St.Patricks Day Party Recap! + Contest!

Last week was St. Patrick's day, so the Chobots Team hosted a Party for that occasion!

Saint Patrick's Party + New items!

As you all know this Tuesday (March 17, 2015) is Saint Patrick's Day!
We will be celebrating this holiday on March 21, 2015.

Cow Mission competition winners!

Hello Chobots!

The farming competition has come to an end and thanks to all of your hard work, Daisy is feeling much better!

The top three users who fed Daisy the most will now receive their prizes. Congratulations to the following:

•    First place: Superb - 7000 bugs, 10 days of citizenship, and a 1st place medal
•    Second place: Trixxjoker - 6000 bugs, 7 days of citizenship, and a 2nd place medal
•    Third place: Blaine - 5000 bugs, 5 days of citizenship, and a 3rd place medal

Congratulations to the three of you and enjoy your prizes! If you didn't participate or win this time, there will be more competitions in the future so stay tuned.

New Agents + Farming Competition!

Hello Chobots!

I have some very exciting news and I'm sure all of you know what I'm talking about! We have three wonderful users who have earned the position of being an agent in the community. An agent helps users occasionally and makes sure everyone is following the rules and these three chobots have demonstrated this.

You three have earned the Agent badge along with the privilege to access the Agent HQ. 

In other news, we have opened a new competition - a farming contest! Daisy is feeling a bit ill so she will need your help to feed her lots of hay.

 The top three users who help Daisy get better the most shall receive some snazzy prizes. The contest will end March 14th so that'll give you some time to get with some friends and start digging!

Remember, cheating is not tolerated on Chobots. If you see any suspicious action, please send us an email (support@chobots.ws) with visual proof.
