New years party and new location!

Hey chobots! The staff will be hosting a new years party for you guys! There will be magic, music, rain and everything else!

Here's some information about the party.

That's pretty much it, also we have a new location!
That's right, the Library Of Wisdom!

(We know Chobotical was the first to put this room into their game, but we've been given permission by the one who designed the room to use it for our game, we've also been given permission to use other rooms made by the designer.)

If you guys are wondering, the Library is located in the academy near choproff!

Christmas party recap

Hey chobots! A day after christmas, we celebrated our winter/christmas party! During the party there were alot of things, we had magic, rain, we moved to snowland park, we saw santa claus himself and we had a quiz afterwards!

Christmas party and new facebook and twitter!

Hey chobots!
On December 26th, the staff will be hosting a christmas/winter party for you guys! You are all invited!
There will be lots of things like magic, fun, rain and we might even put some music on for you guys!

During the party, we will be moving to other locations! it's a surprise, so I can't say what locations they will be but they are winter/christmas related locations for sure!

Agent applications

Hey chobots! First of all we would like to say sorry for the delay of the agency program, but now it's finally here!

For those that don't know what the agents applications are for, i'll explain it to you.

The agents applications are for those who want to apply for agency so that they can become agent and assist the moderators in the game. So instead of having the old classic recommendations, we've decided to have applications for agency instead.

 If we think your application shows that you are ready for the job, then the moderators will be observing those users that filled it out. So remember to be a good chobot!

Then after some time, new agents will be picked.

Free Citizenship event + New citizen feature!

Hey chobots!
Christmas is next week, can you believe it? To celebrate we are giving each user 5 days of citizenship. Starting December 24th till December 25th!
This is our way of saying thank you for playing our game! We hope you continue playing as the year is coming to a end!
Want to know what citizens get? Check it out!

Citizens get many cool features! They get there own green chat, they have access to cool rooms such as the Music stage and Citizen HQ, where they will find the coming soon catalog filled with items coming soon! They also get a cool badge of there player card. They also get a button "blue star" located in under the help sign on the top right. You can go to your wardrobe, customize your robot and change your characters color for free, you can also change your color on your top bar. You first go to the menu and it gives you an option to change your color! Citizens can also buy exclusive items just for them, and when they play games or do quests they get 2x the bugs!
Isn't that fantastic?
Also we recently launched a new feature for citizens! Its called the Citizen Teleport!
Check it out!

It is located on the bottom left of your screen!
You can Teleport to the following places. Citizens HQ, Cafe Street, Park, Underground, Rockmall Street, Academy Street, Winter Park, and the Shop!

1500 users party recap!

Hey chobots!
How was your weekend?
Well last week chobots.ws got 1500 and counting users!
So we celebrated with a party yesterday!
We hope you all enjoyed it! If you didn't make it, don't worry, there will be plenty more in the near future! We started off in the cafe and partied for 1 hour! Than at the end we had a quiz! The winner received 5000 bugs and 1 week of citizenship! Congratulations for Djhowe for winning!

December Journalism + Contest

As with each start to the month, Chobots is looking for new writers to join our Journalist program. This program allows members of the community to showcase their distinguished blogs.

Below are the requirements that your site must meet to apply for Journalism.

•     Your blog should be updated weekly. (If you aren't going to be online for example like going on vacation, please let the staff know)
•     The posts on your blog must be your own and creative. You may not copy from other blogs or websites.
•     Images found on the Official Blog may be used in your posts.
•     At least 1 active author and no more than 3 authors.

Journalists are rewarded with many wonderful perks, such as:

•     Your blog will be featured on the play page.
•     Journalist badge on your playercard with the title of your blog, along with an exclusive playercard.
•     You will receive the exclusive feather item automatically.
•     You will be invited to write one blog post here on the Official Blog.
•     The ability to contact a moderator through PC, even when their card is blocked.
•        Your blog will be bookmarked by the Moderators.
•     Your website will be featured on the Official Blog.
•     And, a purple name tag.

If you would like to take the opportunity in becoming a Journalist, submissions will be open until Wednesday, December 3, 2014. Make sure to include your blog link in the comments. After the submissions are closed, the Chobots Team will review all submissions and announce the new August Journalists.

Space Racing Contest!

Updates and More!

Hello Chobots!
I'm going to tell you about some new updates in the Chobots city.

First of all there is a new UI!
As you can tell there are some new features to this UI. The newest is candy which are like bugs but harder to obtain. With candy you can buy bugs and items citizenship and even badges. The new UI displays all your bugs your status and cho-energy level.

The chobots city has also been redecorated in a Christmas
fashion, here are some pictures!

This is a small Christmas update and more will be coming very soon!

Halloween Updates + More

Hello Everyone! Welcome back to Chobots.ws as we return we are having a major Halloween update and shop refresh!

First off, We have new decorations at the Shop Square and Cafe st! these decorations are Halloween themed. We also have an upcoming room and  maybe a Halloween After Party!

Second of all, The shop finally got refreshed and we have added some new Halloween type items for the Chobots to enjoy. These items are limited and might not come back. Some of the prices for items have changed to make it fair and promising.

The New Halloween Items are :
Bone Suit 10,000 Bugs Citizen only
Pumpkin Flag 900 Bugs 
Witch's Broom 1850 Bugs Citizen only
Pumpkin Backpack 750 Bugs

We're back Online! + CPPS + Journalism

Hello Chobots!

After a lot of downtime, we are finally back up! During our downtime Shadow had implemented multiple features, Both for standard users, agents/mods and what not!!! We'd like to re-invite you to the world of Chobots to have fun and explore, as a added bonus we will be having a party this Friday!!! Isn't that Great? Fabulous!

I'd like too show you guys a sneak peak of a project we've been speaking about for the past little while, and it has actually started its beta stage!

I am pretty sure this gives everything away, if you haven't guessed after seeing this picture it's a new CPPS! And it's not just any CPPS, it's an old version of Club Penguin. There are CPPS's that claim that they are "Old CP" when they just have older rooms from 2008 and such, however we aren't one of those, we are around the 2006-2007 era of Club Penguin, This CPPS will be releasing very soon so be sure to check on the blog often for more news about that.

Updating you on the situation

Hello Users,

If you haven't already noticed the game and the website have been going up and down, this is because of Denial Of Service Attacks (DoS/DDoS) towards our game, and if you haven't already guessed. It was the infamous Sheenieboy, so the game has been down for the safety of our players and to give us time to patch what needs to be patched.

We don't want to leave our users with nothing to do, be sure to check the blog very soon for something new for you all to check out. Until next time Chobots!

Chobots 1000th User party recap

Hey chobots!
so I am going to recap, the party that happened, it was interrupted by hackers in the end.
so  the good-boy I am I took pictures all credits to me for this awesome pictures I took! enjoy guys :)

The party Started off with everyone coming, The Moderator gave us a lot of balloons!

Then the Moderator had some awesome 1000th magic, topping it off with some green!

Don't forget the Amazing, 1000 Lights magic which in my opinion is very awesome!

Then we all turned into a Yeti type creature, and had so much Fun!

Then we had a battle against troopers and Iron-chobots it was really fun!

(Did you know Jag designed the Iron-man suit for chobots.net)

Then we all made a C-star which looked awesome!

we were coming to the end of the party but then hackers came so we didn't officialy, finish it!

It was a good time, I enjoyed it lots of magic and rain but the hackers ruined it.                 

Overall it was great and we hope to party again!
